Sprouties started with one cat, KAT, and a box of grass grown at home. So we have a soft spot for the moment a cat gets a home of their own. When you adopt a cat from a UAE-registered shelter or rescue organization, we send their first month of organic cat grass, on us. It's our way of saying welcome home, and of making sure a new cat has something fresh and green to explore from the very first weeks. Here's how our adoption month works:
How the month works
It's for cats adopted in the last 60 days from a UAE-registered shelter or rescue organization. Fill in the form on our adoption page with your cat's name, the adoption date and the shelter or rescue, and add a photo of the adoption certificate, receipt or approval form. We check it within 2 working days and email you a link. Add your delivery address at checkout, and your first month is free. Nothing to pay today, and one free month per home.
Rescue cats have a way of making themselves at home. One verified buyer of oat told us: “My rescue cat munched happily and stopped nibbling on my fancy houseplants finally!” And from a verified buyer of the Complete Wellness Bundle: “He always looks forward to getting his grass and this bundle helps with his anticipation!”
A welcome home, one box at a time
The free month is Complete Wellness, which brings all three of our organic grasses, one box every 10 days: barley, oat and wheat in turn. Every box is grown hydroponically in the UAE, pesticide-free and non-GMO, harvested the morning it's delivered and delivered fresh and chilled. Free delivery comes with every plan. After the first month, the Complete Wellness Bundle continues at its usual monthly price, or you can switch to your cat's favorite grass. Skip, pause or cancel anytime.
Behind every adoption is a new routine
The first weeks in a new home are full of new smells, new sounds and new people. Let your cat settle at their own pace. Put the box in a calm spot they already like, near where they rest, and let them come to it. Keep it out of direct sun. Some cats sniff and nibble on day one. Others take their time. Each box in the month brings something different:
- Barley comes first. Harvested young, with broad leaves and more in every bite, for adult and senior cats who nibble at their own pace. It naturally contains vitamins C and E and carotenoids.
- Oat is next. Crisp grass for cats who are particular about what they eat. It naturally contains fiber and minerals.
- Wheat rounds off the month. A daily ritual for cats prone to stress: soft, fine grass to return to whenever they need it, naturally containing chlorophyll, vitamins C and E, and trace minerals. All three help with hairballs.
Rescues and foster homes too
If you run a rescue or care for foster cats, grass can be part of every cat's day while they wait for their own home. Build Your Plan holds up to 4 boxes in every delivery, weekly or every 10 days, and in homes with several cats a box is usually finished in two to three days. Message us about standing orders, on WhatsApp or at contact@sprouties.ae. And when one of your cats goes to a new family, point them to our adoption page, so the welcome continues. If your cat has allergies or a health condition, check with your vet before you add anything new, grass included.
Welcome home, everyone
Whether your cat came from a shelter, a rescue, a foster home or a friend's spare room, the first weeks are when a house starts to feel like home. A calm corner, a familiar routine and something of their own can all help. A fresh box of grass can be one of those things: organic, harvested the morning it's delivered, and good for about 7 days from harvest. Set it in a quiet spot your cat already likes, out of direct sun, and let them find it.
More than a pet
Our cats are more than cats. They're family. That's why our adoption month exists: cats adopted in the last 60 days from a UAE-registered shelter or rescue get their first month of Complete Wellness free. Send the adoption certificate through the form, and we check it within 2 working days. One free month per home. After that, the bundle continues at its usual monthly price, and you can skip, pause or cancel anytime.
